Seachem Flourite Dark Substrate – Planted Aquarium Gravel (Repacked) 7L

Seachem Flourite Dark is a specially fractured, porous clay gravel developed for use in natural planted aquariums. Its dark appearance enhances the visual contrast of plants and décor, making it particularly suitable for aquascaping, while remaining versatile enough for general aquarium use.

This substrate is stable and long-lasting, designed to be used alone as a complete substrate bed or mixed with other gravels if preferred. It is not chemically coated or treated, meaning it will not alter water parameters such as pH, making it suitable for a wide range of freshwater setups.

Although pre-washed, a light rinse before use is recommended to remove any residual dust. Some initial cloudiness may occur when filling the aquarium, but this typically clears within 12–24 hours. Filling the tank slowly and minimising disturbance to the substrate bed will help reduce this effect.

Condition Note: Original bag was split and the product has been repackaged. Substrate remains usable.

Key Features:

  • Porous clay gravel designed for planted aquariums
  • Natural dark colour enhances plant contrast
  • Does not alter pH or water chemistry
  • Can be used alone or mixed with other substrates
  • No need for additional gravel modifiers

Seachem Flourite Dark provides a reliable base for plant growth while maintaining stable water conditions, making it a practical choice for both new and established planted aquariums.
