Made from a carefully balanced blend of loam, fine sand and coconut husk, it provides excellent texture, moisture retention and a safe, natural environment that encourages instinctive behaviours such as burrowing.

Directions for Use

• Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure.
• Use a depth of approximately 5cm (2 inches) for young animals.
• Use 15cm (6 inches) or more for adult tortoises.
• Russian tortoises may require a deeper substrate due to their burrowing behaviour.
• Lightly mist selected areas to maintain humidity without over-saturating the substrate.
